Custom Rims Manufacturing
We work as a custom rims manufacturer for wheel brands and motorsport programs that face geometry, offset, and brake clearance change with every fitment.
Yijin Solution machines rim components directly from customer drawings across 5-axis milling and turning centers. A single face and a full production run come off the same machines to the same inspection standard.

Industries We Serve
We machine rim components for aftermarket wheel brands, motorsport and track teams, electric vehicle development programs, and restoration builders. These programs share one constraint: fitment changes with every program, and none of them runs at a volume anywhere close to OEM wheel production. We machine those components to the drawing supplied, without the tooling investment a casting or forging program would require. Our team verifies concentricity, runout, and bolt circle position against the drawing before components leave the facility.
Manufacturing Capabilities for Custom Rims
We machine a rim as a set of separate components rather than as one part. Faces, barrels, and hardware each require different machines and setups, and the mating surfaces between them determine fitment accuracy. Our shop covers milling, turning, fastener production, and finishing in one facility, so every component stays within one quality system.

5-Axis CNC Machining
We reach spoke undercuts, concave face profiles, and back-milled weight pockets in a single setup on our 5-axis CNC machining centers. Fewer setups mean less positional error accumulates between the bolt circle, the center bore, and the face profile.

CNC Turning
We turn outer and inner barrels, center bores, and sealing surfaces to profile. Concentricity and runout on these surfaces determine how the assembled wheel balances at speed.

Custom Fasteners
We produce assembly bolts, inserts, and center-lock hardware in stainless steel and titanium under the same lot control as the components they join. Thread class and head geometry are machined to the drawing rather than substituted from stock.

Surface Finishing
We apply anodizing, powder coating, polishing, bead blasting, and PVD as in-house surface finishing after machining. Surface roughness targets differ between cosmetic faces and functional mating surfaces, and our team specifies both at the quote stage.
Parts We Make for Custom Rims
We supply rim program components component by component across a fitment range, rather than as finished assemblies. Our team quotes each part against its own drawing, so a brand can order faces, barrels, and hardware on separate schedules.
- Monoblock wheel centers: single-piece machined face and center in Aluminum 6061-T6 or 7075
- Two-piece wheel faces: machined face drilled for a bolted barrel joint
- Three-piece wheel faces: machined face for separate outer and inner barrel assembly
- Outer barrels: turned profile with machined bolt circle and sealing face
- Inner barrels: turned profile matched to the outer barrel joint
- Back-milled lightweight faces: weight pockets machined into the reverse face for motorsport programs
- Center bores and hub-centric rings: machined to the vehicle hub diameter
- Center caps: turned and milled cosmetic components finished to a visible standard
- Beadlock rings: drilled clamping rings for off-road and rally fitments
- Assembly bolts and inserts: stainless steel and titanium hardware for multi-piece wheels
- Center-lock nuts: machined retention hardware for single-nut motorsport fitments
- Wheel spacers and adapters: machined to a specified offset and bolt pattern
From Idea to Production
We support a rim program from a first concept face through to a repeating production run. Our DFM review at quote stage flags wall thickness at spoke roots, caliper clearance envelopes, and finish-dependent roughness targets before any material is cut. We machine and measure a first article, then hold the approved geometry as the production baseline. Our new product development services run prototype and production components on the same machines under the same inspection standards, so scaling a fitment requires no requalification.
Why Rim Manufacturers Choose Yijin

Precision and Quality
Yijin machines rim components to tolerances of plus or minus 0.01 mm, verified on Zeiss CMM equipment with dimensional inspection reports on request.

Prototyping to Production
We run the first article and production components on the same 5-axis and turning centers under the same inspection standards, so scale-up requires no requalification.

Order Any Size
We accept single prototype components and repeat production runs across 887 pieces of production equipment, including more than 136 CNC machining centers, with no minimum order quantity.

Material Breadth
We machine Aluminum 6061-T6, Aluminum 7075, stainless steel, titanium, and customer-supplied forged blanks in-house and ship each order with material certification.

Cost-Effective
We price directly from the factory and include a free DFM review at the quote stage that identifies wall thickness, clearance, and finish issues before machining begins.

Custom Rims Manufacturing FAQs
What certifications cover automotive rim component manufacturing?
We manufacture automotive rim components under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 certified management systems. IATF 16949 is the automotive quality management standard, and it covers the same production line that machines rim components. Certification documents are available on request at the quote stage.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom rim components?
We set no minimum order quantity for custom rim components and accept a single prototype parts. Per-part cost falls as volume rises, because fixturing and setup are amortized across the run.
Can rim components be machined to an existing customer design?
We machine rim components from customer CAD files, 2D drawings, or a scanned sample where no drawing exists. The design remains the customer’s property, and we can sign an NDA before any file transfer.
What component diameters are available for rim machining?
We machine rim components within a diameter range set by our turning and milling envelopes together. Components above the turning envelope are machined on our milling centers instead. Our team confirms the achievable diameter for a given face at the quote stage.
What materials and finishes are available for machined rim components?
We machine Aluminum 6061-T6, Aluminum 7075, stainless steel, titanium, and customer-supplied forged blanks. Finishing options include anodizing, powder coating, polishing, bead blasting, and PVD. Roughness targets differ between cosmetic and functional surfaces, and our team confirms both against the drawing.
What inspection documentation is supplied with a production order?
We issue first article inspection reports before production release, and in-process inspection records are available on request. Concentricity, runout, and bolt circle position are measured against the drawing on every production lot.

Fitment accuracy on a rim program is set at the machining stage, and a face that misses its bolt circle or brake clearance envelope cannot be corrected downstream.
