No Drawings? No Problem. From concept to production, our designers and engineers handle everything in between. Explore Our New Services

Industries We Serve

We support industrial automation builders, humanoid robotics developers, autonomous mobile robot and warehouse system builders, and integrators sourcing components for larger programs. Our team manufactures the mechanical hardware inside handling cells, inspection and service platforms, motion subassemblies, and commercial unmanned aircraft. Each part is produced to drawing, with inspection records supplied. Scope stays commercial throughout.

Manufacturing Capabilities for Robotics

Yijin Solution combines CNC machining, Swiss turning, sheet metal fabrication, custom fastener production, and surface finishing for robotics projects. Managing these processes through one supplier keeps drawing revisions, inspection standards, and dimensional traceability under a single quality system. Our team supports single-iteration prototypes through repeat production runs in aluminum, stainless steel, and engineering plastics.

CNC Machining

CNC machining covers milled actuator housings, joint bodies, gearbox housings, brackets, and end effector components in Aluminum 6061 and 7075, stainless steel grades, and engineering plastics. Machined features hold to plus or minus 0.01 mm on suitable geometry, subject to material and feature type.

Swiss Turning

Swiss turning covers small-diameter shafts, pins, bushings, and threaded studs, run across a fleet of more than 80 Swiss-type lathes. Slender hardware holds closer to nominal on a Swiss lathe, since the guide bushing supports the bar at the cut.

Sheet Metal Fabrication

Sheet metal fabrication covers formed enclosures, covers, shrouds, mounting plates, and cable management panels in aluminum and stainless steel. Flatness, bend count, and material thickness drive the achievable result, each confirmed against the drawing at quote stage.

Custom Fasteners

Cold heading and secondary threading produce custom robotics fasteners to plus or minus 0.02 mm across 150 cold heading machines. Non-standard screws, shoulder bolts, and standoffs come from the same facility and the same quality system as the machined parts.

Surface Finishing

Hard anodizing, clear and colored anodizing, black oxide, and passivation control wear and corrosion on aluminum and stainless steel components. Finish selection is confirmed at the quote stage, since coating thickness affects fit on close-tolerance features.

Parts We Make for Robotics

We manufacture custom robotics parts from customer drawings and 3D CAD files. Each part is produced to the specified material, tolerance, finish, and inspection requirements.

  • Actuator housings machined in aluminum with thin wall sections and a heat path.
  • Joint and pivot housings holding bearing bore concentricity against a machined mounting face.
  • Gearbox and reducer housings machined in aluminum and steel with controlled bores.
  • Structural brackets and mounting plates in Aluminum 6061 and 7075, where weight and stiffness both matter.

From Idea to Production

Every robotics project starts with a free DFM review at the quote stage, where tolerances, datums, and material choices are settled before the first cut. Prototypes typically run 3 to 7 days, and design revisions are absorbed within the same fixturing rather than restarting the setup. Production runs typically complete in 2 to 4 weeks in the same facility under the same quality system, so parts do not requalify at a second supplier. Inspection records travel with the parts at both stages, and earlier concept work is supported through our new product development services.

Robotics Custom Parts Manufacturing FAQs

Single-piece iteration parts are accepted, and repeat runs are quoted separately. Per-part cost falls as setup time amortizes across the run, which is why a validation build and a production run are priced differently. Submitting the intended run size alongside the drawing allows us to provide a faster, more accurate quote.

Machined features reach plus or minus 0.01 mm where geometry and material allow, and cold-headed fasteners reach plus or minus 0.02 mm. Achievable tolerance depends on feature type, part geometry, and the inspection method agreed upon at the quote stage. Standard-class tolerances for machined and fabricated work are confirmed against the drawing during quoting.

The certifications held are ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949. At the component level, the quality system provides documented inspection, material certificates, and lot traceability on robotics orders. Robotics carries no component-level sector certification equivalent, so buyers assess the quality system and the inspection record instead.

Aluminum 6061 and 7075 cover most machined robotics structures. Stainless steel grades, tool steel, brass, and engineering plastics, including PEEK, acetal, and nylon, follow. Grade choice affects cost and lead time, since stainless machines more slowly and consume more tooling.

Prototypes typically run 3 to 7 days, and production runs typically complete in 2 to 4 weeks. Complexity, finishing scope, and inspection requirements are the main drivers of both figures. Confirmed dates are issued with the quote.

The scope here is component manufacturing to customer drawings. Assembly, electronics, software, and battery systems sit outside it. Unmanned platform work covers commercial and industrial applications such as inspection, survey, agriculture, and delivery, and the items supplied are machined and fabricated components.

Surface Finish Guides

A robotics build schedule holds only when the mechanical parts arrive, to drawing revision after revision.

Yijin Solution manufactures robot components to drawing in Shenzhen, with dimensional inspection reports documented and made available against each order.
