Powder Coating with Yijin Solution
Yijin Solution provides durable powder coating that keeps metal parts looking great and lasting longer. Our coatings resist chipping, fading, corrosion, and sun damage.
We coat aluminum, steel, zinc, and other metals in a wide range of colors and finishes, including matte, gloss, and textured options. By carefully preparing the surface, masking, and controlling the coating, we ensure a smooth, consistent finish every time.
We work with engineers and OEMs making industrial equipment, automotive parts, consumer hardware, architectural hardware, and structural assemblies – helping your parts look better and perform longer.
Sheet metal fabrication is one stage in a larger product development process. We support the full path from initial concept through engineering review, prototyping, design validation, and volume production.

Powder Coating Types
The powder type determines how the finish performs in service. At Yijin Solution, we select the resin system based on the operating environment, substrate, and aesthetic requirement.

Epoxy
Strong adhesion and chemical resistance for indoor, industrial, and electrical enclosure parts. Not suited to outdoor use because UV resistance is limited.

Polyester
Strong UV and weather resistance, the common choice for outdoor, architectural, and automotive exterior parts.

Epoxy-Polyester Hybrid
Balanced chemical and mechanical protection for indoor use, common on consumer electronics housings and equipment panels.

Poliuretano
Smooth, flexible finish with chemical and impact resistance for automotive and heavy-duty machinery parts.

Materials We Powder Coat
We powder coat across the material families we machine and fabricate. Each substrate requires specific pretreatment to ensure coating adhesion and a defect-free finish.
Aleaciones de aluminio
The most common powder-coating substrate. Excellent adhesion after standard chromate or chrome-free conversion coating.
Acero al carbono
A strong base for powder coating after phosphate pretreatment. Standard for structural, industrial, and enclosure parts that need both corrosion protection and color.
Acero inoxidable
Adds color and extra corrosion protection. Needs surface profiling, usually by abrasive blasting, for adhesion.
Die-cast Aluminum and Zinc
Durable, color-uniform finish on porous substrates. A pre-cure outgassing step is applied as standard to prevent pinholes.
Latรณn y cobre
Decorative finish on soft metals for architectural hardware, consumer products, and specialty components.
Our Powder Coating Process
Every order follows the same production sequence from quote to shipment. The steps below show where your part is checked and what each stage controls.
- Quote and DFM review: upload your CAD files and specify color, finish, and masking. Our team reviews the design for coating compatibility before production starts.
- Surface preparation: degreasing, chemical pretreatment matched to the substrate, and drying to set up adhesion.
- Masking: threaded holes, mating surfaces, and critical-tolerance features are masked to keep coating off the areas that must stay clear.
- Electrostatic powder application: charged powder is sprayed onto grounded parts in a controlled booth for an even coat.
- Curing: parts are cured in the oven at the temperature and time set for the powder type.
- Inspection and quality control: coating thickness measurement, adhesion testing, and visual inspection against the finish specification.
- Packaging and shipment: finished parts are packed and shipped from our facility.
Applications and Industriesโ
We powder coat parts across the industries we serve. We match the finish selection, including resin type, color, and texture, to the operating environment and performance requirement of each application.
Brackets, housings, heat shields, and under-hood components. Chip resistance and color consistency across production runs.
Enclosures, bezels, chassis, and heat sinks. Smooth matte or textured finishes resist fingerprints and scratching while keeping a clean product aesthetic.
Panels, frames, guards, and machine covers. Corrosion and chemical resistance for factory-floor and outdoor environments.
Equipment housings and non-contact components. Smooth, cleanable surface finish that withstands repeated wipe-down with disinfectants.
Structural arms, covers, and enclosures. Durable color coding for safety and brand identity, with impact protection on high-wear surfaces.
Facades, frames, and fittings. Polyester powder coatings on aluminum substrates meet AAMA 2604 and 2605 durability standards for exterior building applications.
Why Choose Yijin Solution for Powder Coating

We run finishing in-house alongside our CNC machining, fabricaciรณn de chapa metรกlica, y fundiciรณn a presiรณn lines. Parts do not leave our facility for coating, which removes third-party handoff delays, reduces handling damage, and keeps finish quality under direct process control.

Our engineering team reviews every order for coating compatibility at the quote stage. Masking requirements, tolerance risks from coating buildup, and pretreatment selection are resolved before production starts, not discovered after parts are machined.

We support multiple powder types, color systems, and textures in-house. If one part needs polyester for outdoor UV resistance and another needs epoxy for chemical resistance, both run through the same finishing line without splitting the order across suppliers.

Our ISO 9001 certified quality management system covers the full production chain, including finishing. Zeiss CMM inspection is available for parts that need dimensional verification after coating, so coated parts meet the print before they ship.

FAQs on Powder Coating Services
Will powder coating affect my part tolerances?
Yes, by the thickness of the coating. Powder coating adds 50 to 150 microns per coated surface, so threaded holes, bores, and mating faces are masked to keep them within print. Flag any tight-tolerance features at quote stage so they are protected during the run.
Is there a minimum order quantity for powder coating?
There is no fixed minimum. Powder coating is an add-on to your manufacturing order, so it runs on anything from a single prototype through full production volumes. We confirm pricing and scheduling for your specific quantity at quote stage.
Can you match a specific RAL or Pantone color?
Yes. Send the RAL code, Pantone code, or a physical color sample, and we confirm the match on a coated sample before running production. This sample-approval step prevents color drift between your specification and the finished parts.
Do you provide coating test reports with the order?
Yes. We supply dry film thickness measurements, adhesion test results, and visual inspection records against the agreed finish specification. Additional verification such as salt spray data can be arranged at quote stage for parts headed into corrosive service.
Can a powder-coated part be recoated or repaired later?
Powder-coated surfaces can be stripped and recoated, though the part must return through pretreatment to restore adhesion. Spot repair is possible for minor damage but rarely matches a full recoat for uniformity. For long production runs, it is more economical to control finish quality at the inspection stage than to repair after delivery.
Do you offer powder coating as a standalone service, or only with manufacturing orders?
Powder coating is an add-on finishing service for parts we manufacture. It is available on CNC machined, sheet metal, die-cast, and 3D printed parts produced through our facility. We do not currently accept externally manufactured parts for standalone coating.

Powder coating gives metal parts a durable, corrosion-resistant color finish across aluminum, steel, and zinc alloys, and the right system depends on the part’s service environment. Yijin Solution provides powder coating as part of our in-house finishing for machined, sheet metal, and die-cast parts, so the finish is specified at the quote stage.
