Custom DIN933 Hex Head Screw
Currently, there are two main length measuring systems around the world: the metric system and the British system. The former is used in Europe, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia, with units of measurement like meter (m), centimeter (cm), and millimeter (mm), the latter is used in the USA, UK, and European countries, with units of measurement like inch, which is equivalent to Cun in traditional Chinese measurement system.
Hex head screws are made of carbon steel of grade 4.8 or grade 8.8, 10.9, or 12.9 with high strength, and of stainless steel of grade 304 or 3161.
The 4.8 grade hex head screws are mostly seen on the market. A, B, and C are used to specify the precision grades. Hex head screws of grades A and B are very important and used a lot, with high assembly accuracy requirements, usually in occasions subjected to large impacts, vibrations, or alternating loads. Hex head screws of grade C are mostly used on occasions with rough surfaces and low assembly accuracy requirements.
As the most common one out of the stainless steel fastener family, the stainless steel hex head bolts are usually used with nuts in places with high anti-corrosion or high surface smoothness requirements for the products. The performance grades of stainless steel hex head bolts are A2-70, A4-70, and A4-80 of austenitic steel. Normally, they are made of stainless steel SUS304 or SUS316 by heading.
The hex head bolts are made of stainless steel by heading of wire rods which have two types: stainless steel 304 and stainless steel 316. Its price depends on the stainless steel used. Better stainless steel has a higher price.

For a product with a large diameter, to achieve specified mechanical properties, a higher content of carbon can be seen on the manufacturer’s instructions, but the content of carbon cannot be over 0.12% for austenitic steel.
